TUNA PASTA RECIPE IN 1...2...3...

You know how I love to prepare simple recipes that are deliciously healthy and budget friendly. So for my so called #FITFRIDAY I wish to share with you my own version of TUNA PASTA with using an easy to find local ingredients. This is my local version of Tuna Pasta, by combining fresh salad ingredients and pasta in one.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Fresh Salad Lettuce
500 grams Spaghetti Noodles
Century Tuna Flakes (Vegetable Oil/Drained/ set aside oil)
Green Peas
Small sized Tomato (unseeded)
White Onion (chopped)
Dried Raisins
Salt
Pepper

Servings:
4-6 Servings

PREPARATIONS:

PREPARE - fresh ingredients such chopping onion, draining tuna flakes, slicing tomatoes and separating lettuce leaves.

COOK- Take out Spaghetti noodles from packaging and follow cooking procedures found at the back of it. While waiting for the noodles to be cooked, in a wok pour in a small amount of tuna oil saute onion, green peas, tuna flakes altogether. Right about 2 minutes turn off the heat and set aside. Once noodles are cooked and drained, pour into the sauteed ingredients and mix slowly. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.

ASSEMBLE - Get a clean bowl, assembly lettuce first at the bottom (use your imagination on how you would like your pasta to look like). Then pour in Spaghetti pasta in the middle. Put sliced/unseeded tomatoes on top and sprinkle dried raisins as many as you want.

Serve and enjoy!
