IN SEASON DECOR 2 - COMPLETION

As for me, I've did quite a number of holiday DIY decor over the weekend and I am sharing it to you today. This is actually a continuation of what I have posted Monday last week. Like what I have mentioned last time I am aiming for a total of 21 Holiday related projects but apparently I decided to just add a few more items to specific areas and not overdo things. Anyways, I am already satisfied with the little pop of color we have in the bedroom now. Budget and space wise, I believe these additional decor gave us that Holiday feels we're looking for.

IN SEASON DECOR - SMALL PROJECTS FOR CHRISTMAS

Since it's the season to be jolly and I am still on the mood for decorating. I decided to do small, In- season-D.I.Y project. If you were able to follow my posting about our bedroom makeover which I reveal last November, you might probably chance upon this cute hanging kit we had at the back of the door. It triggered me to do a whole batch of themed Christmas decor project. As of today, I already made 4 simple projects. I' am planning to have 21 more in varieties to go with the 25 days countdown, but I didn't want to overdo everything, so we'll see.

For now, here is what I can share to you.

BEDROOM MAKEOVER REVEAL

As a recap, for the last three to four years, our bedroom paint were left unfinished. We also had a huge dilemma of hoarding a huge amount of items for years I struggle to keep things organize in such a long period. The result was overwhelming, just look at the BEFORE pictures below and you'll understand. The clutter and disorganization of things, it only added up unnecessary burden especially on my part. Until I decided to do some changes and truly feel that it is about time to do that leap.

It started last year thru practicing closet organization. Little by little I started realizing that changes really comes from within. The first few months I am struggling, but I never gave up. There were times that I really pushed myself to get up and make sure everything is in place. I make sure that my clothes are well organized from time to time. I started doing it on my own at first. Until such time I felt it's already in my system. I realised, I just needed to acknowledge that there really is a problem. Madalas kasi iniisip natin okay lang yan, simple lang naman yan, damit lang naman yan pero hindi lang pala ganun "lang" yun. In a way, those we thought or usually define as "petty things", normal lang na magulo is also a reflection of who we are. And I didn't want to be like that, I refuse to be one so I had a change of heart. I made up my mind and commence the Bedroom Makeover Project.

MOOD BOARD & PROJECT GOAL REVEAL

Our bedroom makeover is coming to an end. Three more pieces to arrive and it will have its final look. So I guess it's about time to share with you how we were able to come up with our design. In this project, we ultimately wanted to achieve THREE things...

GET A HANG OF IT (SIMPLE ORGANIZING SOLUTION)

Good day! I am stoked coz' tomorrow is a Holiday. We'll I am not going anywhere but it means I will have the time to visit or maybe finished some of my pending works at home. Particularly those that are almost left forgotten. hahahaha... Life's busy and more than not, I spend my "ME" time doing small projects (for improvement, I hope so) at home.

That being said, well what's new? I'm still not done with our bedroom makeover! I don't even know when it's gonna end but keber. I am enjoying the slow phase transformation anyways. (Hehehe!) I honestly do not know when I will be able to finish everything or when will I get satisfied. My husband said he's good with what he's seeing at the moment. Well, I do agreed on that, since it looks better than before. But still thinks there's more we can improve on. (blah blah blah)... going back...

See the picture above? that's the real answer, hahahaha. I was able to do a simple project recently. Do you have any idea what I am going to do with those materials?

FAUX PAINTED BRICK WALL

For the continuation of our bedroom makeover project. I together with my husband, decided to bring in some life to this particular wall. As you can see in the picture below, it badly needs a makeover.
