MY FIRST LONG RIDE

ONE WITH THE NATURE (STILTS CALATAGAN GETAWAY)

How nourishing it is to lay down on a pristine sand. Gaze at an overcast sky from up above. To see the rising current and hear the sound of its crashing waves. To feel the warmth of the wind on my skin. I recognize that distinctive smell of salt water. Finally, I am in Eutierria. I seek to feel the serenity it has brought upon me from exactly the same time, two weeks ago.

And because we are half through the month of February, I think it's about time to move this entry out of my January Drafts LOL.. (late post na naman, pagpasensyahan nyo nabubusy rin sa life... hehehe). CINTAI CORITOS GARDEN

We were looking for a perfect quick get away two months ago and found Cintai Coritos Garden on FB ads. After checking on reviews and other people post, we've decided to check for it,  ourselves.

We went there in October and couldn't be happier to have felt and experience the Balinese inspired luxurious garden right at the very heart of Balete, Batangas. It is a paradise not too far from home and the place is absolutely Instagrammable!

OUR CANYON COVE GETAWAY

I've been thinking about the beach, waters and the sands for weeks now realizing I haven't even shared our Canyon Cove getaway yet. It is something that is worth sharing for and I can't believe I almost forget to blog about it. So without further adieu, here is the story of our first long drive (just the three of us) and beach escapade. The best part is, it was well an unplanned trip.

BEAT THE HEAT AT SOUTHPICK RESORT

I wished for a day of relaxation and my wish was granted on the second day of the celebration. To beat the heat that day we took ourselves to Southpick Resort at Sta. Rosa Laguna. See our simple water splash celebration and know more about the resort.  

AQUARIA - A PARADISE IN THE SOUTH

WE LOVE SUMMER!!! wooohooo.... (Olaf lang ang peg? he he) but yes, that's how we felt about our recent trip down south at Aquaria Beach Resort at Playa Calatagan, Batangas. It is officially our first travel getaway for this year and we had an amazing time at the resort.

Since summer is just around the corner (though no official declaration has been made yet) allow me to share with you the reasons why this place is worth your time, effort and visit.

DAY 4 - DISCOVERING TREASURES OF KALIBO

As we bid goodbye to the Island of Boracay, our hearts felt like melting because the view and people of the island were truly amazing (you didn't wished to leave). It is indeed a paradise, but we know we have to face the reality of life and we need to go back to work soon. Anyways it was just our FIRST, we can always go back and experience the island anytime soon.

DAY 3: DISCOVERING PUKA BEACH AND JONAH'S SPECIALS

June 20, 2014 - Since it is our 3rd day and last day in the island, we didn't miss the chance to taste and experience JONAH'S FRUITSHAKES for our breakfast, we were supposed to have an early swim but it was high tide during the day so we opt to watch the current and tides as it splashes at the back of Jonah's Restaurant. You'll see the Grotto from afar and I think no one is brave enough to swim in there during the high tide except to few surfers that we saw that day. After eating our breakfast we decided to go to PUKA Beach. We rode a tricycle back and forth, good thing Manong Driver was patient and kind enough to wait for us.

DAY 1: BORACAY ISLAND (WATER) ADVENTURE

A week before our flying date my husband had an accident that I needed to bring him to the hospital and buy crutch to help him walk. I told him it would be impossible for us to go on with our travel with his condition, but he insists, he said he's going to be fine and ready to walk on the day of our actual flight. Then rainy season have started - the rain was pouring so hard for two days already and that time I am almost ready to cancel our trip. Trust me on this one, prayers can really do wonders and I can still remember every details of what had happened  during that day.

DAY 2: BORACAY ISLAND (LAND) ADVENTURE

Two! fine day... finally we were able to see the Sunrise (but still cloudy). The three of us woke up early and decided to breathe the breeze of fresh air coming from the shore of Station 2. We saw this newly built castle sand and we took the opportunity to take a picture of it and pay for P20.00. The local government in MALAY regulates the sculpture and making of sand castles (strictly implemented in the island)

A week ago, while I was browsing my album (online), my daughter decided to join me. She burst out "KENZIE YUN"! she couldn't contain her excitement upon seeing herself in the picture. What excites her most was when she saw a picture of herself and her dad on the beach.
