FUN WAY TO GET ORGANISED WITH P-TOUCH D200KT

When I started having an interest in organisation two years ago, I was so eager to buy a label maker. Reasons? well because basically it is such a great tool for organising and at the same time it will help me find things easily. But when I saw how pricey label makers are (best type ranges from around 3.5K up), I ended up using blank label stickers. But through time, I learned that it is much wiser to invest in a quality label maker machine as this one. It comes with a price (yes) but nevertheless, it won't break the bank (especially when you find it on Sale!)

And so the time has come for me! when I accidentally found this adorable Hello Kitty Label Maker on Sale at Office Warehouse. I've been eyeing to own a label maker machine for so long particularly the Sanrio edition (personal preference). The original SRP was at 3,150 Php. I got it for only 2,350 Php, giving me 800.00 peso savings.

So what's in the package?

Well, basically what you see in the picture above; the machine, manual, warranty and tape.
But I am quite disappointed that it doesn't come with an AC Adaptor. And that you have to buy it separately if you want for 600 Php. Huh?!

Anyways, it wasn't a big deal since the machine can also be operated with the help of a six (6) piece Triple A batteries.

Tape Cassette on the middle part. Six (6) triple-A batteries on the sides.

How to use it?

There are things that you need to set on the menu. Depending on your needs or preferences. Don't fret, because the instructions are clear and comprehensible. You may use the manual to help you out. If you want instant tutorials just head on to youtube.
What makes it more fun?!

P-Touch D200KT is lightweight, easy to carry and use. The designs and symbols provided are not limited to typical alpha-numeric. How fun it is to see various Hello Kitty characters and frames on your label. But if you opt to go simpler, you can do so by turning off the styling.

These are some of the examples of the label I made using D200KT for the first time.

Use it on our spice dispenser and to make baking tools and containers. I can rinse them off without worrying if the label will come off or get faded because it won't and it will stay laminated in a long run (unless I intentionally tear or wash the label off.)

As you can see in the pictures above, you can make different labels with or without designs of frames around. You may also use the basic as you wish if you want your label to look simpler and neat. The TZE (tape) that I use here is the one included in the package. Hello Kitty's face was all over the tape so I chose to go with a simple wordings & label.

Just a reminder! Tip para makatipid sa tape.

You might want to set your style beforehand and see which type of label you need by pressing the Menu Button. Followed by the Font Setting Buttons and Frames. You may also set a standard length for all your labels. Then when typing for the wordings use the alpha-numeric keys, type simultaneously and use double space to separate each word from the other. Press the print preview first (magnifier symbol) to see if you are satisfied with how your label will look like. If not, press the menu button and styling button again to edit (just don't forget to press OK everytime you change settings). If it's good to go. Press that PRINT button! and in a few seconds... Your label is now ready for cutting!

See where I put the labels?

BTW, I also wish to lessen that "Mommy nasan dito yung?..." moments so everyone in the house can find what they need easily. Always do it on a purpose my dear para less hassle... Hahaha
I am excited to use it soon for Mckenzie's school materials in the next school year! Iwas na rin sa mga nag-lalahong lapis, pambura at eraser. Mahirap din kasi pag araw-araw ka nawawalan. May tamang time at venue para mag charity ng supplies diba?... ;)
