Browsing the internet last weekend, I found this incredibly amazing apps (for android) that kids will truly fall in love with. The Bible App for Kids which was created by YouVersion makers of the Bibble Apps.
This particular app was designed to engage children with the stories from the bible. It also aims to help kids be familiar with God's word in an interactive way. Good thing they have created such app and made it available to download for FREE! The old bible story books that I bought for McKenzie will finally take a rest for now because the pages are already torn apart. This particular app is also user friendly - easy to navigate, with graphically well - done designs, colorful and touch activated animation that help promotes cognitive development for kids. (Learning thru play).

There are twelve (12) different stories to choose from (as of date): IN THE BEGINNING (Creation of the world), THE FIRST SIN (The Fall) and GOD'S AMAZING PROMISE (Abraham is called by God) to name a few. Swipe (from left & right) the touch illustration to choose what story do you want to read.
Touch the first illustration with the title (sample) IN THE BEGINNING and it will take you to this page. (Note you need to download each story before you can start reading)

Arrow Keys: command if you wish to continue reading or go back on the previous page.
The Book Icon : if you wish to hide or open the script.
The Menu Button (below, rightmost part) navigation of a home button, narrator and background music.
Most of the illustration are touchable and interactive (you'll be surprise what they can do).
At the end of each story a pop up box will show up. Question are given to exercise your kids comprehension. (With your guidance of course)
Then you may start choosing more stories to download. (Note: you may want to download each stories first before you hand it over to the kiddo's just to avoid waiting time and tantrums. I mean you don't want to freeze their excitement, right?) By the way, there are more exciting challenges and activities hidden from this app (for you to find out) which I will not mention anymore (Spoiler alert.. hihi).
To sum it up, I personally recommend that you try to download this app especially for you and your kids. It is both educational and interactive. It is also a good way in instilling God's Word and right values to your kids too. Simple words and phrases are being use for easy comprehension. Definitely a good way to bond with your kids.
