EXPLORING WRIGHT PARK AND THE MANSION

The food we ate at Rancho inside Ketchup Food Community was undoubtedly delicious and it deserves a big round of applause! Woot...woott... It gave us enough energy to face our whole day adventure.
For our first stop - THE WRIGHT PARK. Since it is just a stone throw away  from KFC we decided to say hello to the horses and pony inside the fences of the park. You can experience horseback riding by paying necessary fees depending on how long do you wish to experience it. If you do not know how to ride on don't worry because handlers know exactly what to do. We've seen a lot of souvenir items on sale at almost every corner of the park. But if you didn't wish to try or buy anything you can just chill around the greens for it is unlimited and free.

At the middle of the park you will see this long and steep stairways that we (including my little girl) braved to climbed up. After you have reached the top of the hill you will find this majestic posts standing tall at the middle of the park.

From afar, moving forward to the north you'll see the glorious gate of the Mansion. You'll need to climb a little more step to reached the gazebo and few more meters to finally reached the other end. The pond doesn't have much to offer (unfortunately I didn't find any fish from it) but the view were still amazing. surrounded with greens and flowers, a stagnant water from it reflects the blue skies from above and of course the cool breeze of the air is what we've come to appreciate more.

Once you've reached the far end of the pond you need to cross the road and walk a little more further until you reach -  THE MANSION.

As you may know now, The Mansion House is the official summer residence of the President. It has been a tourist attraction for decades, it is open to public and entrance is free so we didn't pass the chance to visit and take a picture of it. You can only take pictures from afar just a few meters away from the gate where the guard posts were settled. They have this big BELEN in the front yard but visitors are not allowed to step on the greens.

Although Botanical garden is just another few meters away, we opted to turn back and visit Camp John Hay. So for our next stop check out the adventures we had at Camp John Hay. :)
