DAY 2: BORACAY ISLAND (LAND) ADVENTURE

Two! fine day... finally we were able to see the Sunrise (but still cloudy). The three of us woke up early and decided to breathe the breeze of fresh air coming from the shore of Station 2. We saw this newly built castle sand and we took the opportunity to take a picture of it and pay for P20.00. The local government in MALAY regulates the sculpture and making of sand castles (strictly implemented in the island)

June 19, 2014, most of our activities were on land (anyways we can always throw ourselves into the waters whenever we have the time (lol). Our itinerary for the day includes; Station 1 Grotto visit, ATV/ Buggy adventure, DREAM LAND, Swimming and Dinner with friends.

After we had our castle in the sand photo session,  we went to D' Talipapa to buy pasalubong then headed to Station 1 not by foot by the way (hehe). We rode a tricycle going there and asked the driver to unload us at the Pearl of the Orient. After chilling out and watching the high tides in Station 1 we headed back to the hotel to eat breakfast and prepare for our next stop - The ATV/ Buggy Adventure and The Dreamland experience.

Before you can take an ATV/Buggy ride adventure you need to attend a (short) briefing.  Information about the safety travel (Do's and Don'ts) during your ride, the route to take and where to head next, after each station. We tried the buggy ride, with my husband on the wheels while me and my little girl was just sitting beside him relaxing (Buggy ride with umbrella on top). It rained again, however it stopped when we were about to start our ride.

Our first stop - OCEAN TOWER, wherein you needed to take hundreds of steps to be able to capture 360 Degree panoramic view of Boracay Island from the top. All stops have this cute statue of cartoon characters and you can take the picture with it, while resting. If you need to take a bladder break toilets are available on your way up and down, just be extra careful since the stairs are made of a natural stone and sand and are slippery when wet. Once you reach the end of the stairways you need to take another steps going up to the deck. Below the deck you can order food and eat at this small resto underneath.

THE TRICK MUSEUM

We were amazed how this museum has been set up, starting from the entrance, going through the hallway up to the exit point. The optical illusion makes us so alive and excited. Every art display boast an amazing talent of it's creator that can make your imagination alive! We were like crazy, laughing our heart's out because of how good the pictures had come out.  Here are some of the photos we took during our trip inside the Trick Art Museum.

THE BUTTERFLY MUSEUM

Moving on (After the fun at the Trick museum ) we headed next to the Butterfly Collection Museum, as the title implies the room was literally filled with preserved butterfly and other small flying species. The art gallery was indeed interesting and fun to look at.

Once you exited the two rooms you'll be surprised of what the theme park has to offer. Kids and kids at heart will truly be enjoy playing and chilling around the park. You will see different rides and statue (even alive animals on the cage) around this big land. It was all working but we opted not to try one since it was raining that day.

It was almost lunch and our stomach were craving for food already so we headed to D'Mall to take our lunch. I was supposed to bring my hubby and baby at Aria and other "known" restaurant at D'Mall but it was all jam packed (with people) so we ended up eating at the BIG MOUTH. After which we went back to our hotel and take a rest. In the afternoon the water were so inviting so we have no choice but to take a dip into its beauty.

We've spent the rest of our day swimming and playing in the sand at the shore of Station 2 and then back to the hotel to rest. In the evening we met some of our friends (who happen to be in the island that day) over dinner at SHAKEYS.  End of Day 2.
