MY VIEW AT MINESVIEW

You might be wondering why my picture looks like this. It wasn't pretty I know, the park was under renovation during our visit so that basically explains the reason. The old stone stair treads from the entrance going to the deck were still up but they added up a slopping pathways made of cement and steels. Walking and getting through the observation deck will be easier for everyone and I guess they did it for safety reasons especially during rainy season.

Minesview offers almost the same sights of interest since my last visit. Horses, Saint Bernard (Dog), traditional Igorot costume rentals are available in case tourists wanted to have a photo souvenir. A twenty pesos costume rental for unlimited time and picture taking! not bad at all.  You can even walk and roam around the park wearing the costume if you want to. If you wish to do horseback riding without actually driving, then avail the services of the white and black horses on stand by. Here's how we enjoyed our visit to the park.

(US) IN TRADITIONAL IGOROT COSTUMES

Since we are wearing the traditional Igorot outfit we wanted to enjoy the moment and at least be in character and as you can see my husband got carried away (lol). Surprisingly they do got some small costume for toddlers/ children too. Check out the confuse look on my daughter's face. (lol)

Hubby and I also had a photo, riding on this horse and good thing he behave well (the horse or the husband?) lol... We saw how tired Saint Bernard (Big Dog) was so we just allow him to rest. Moving forward to the park you will reached the observation deck.

From the deck, you'll see a view of the abandoned mining town of Itogon. Expect to see residential and business establishment from below the ridge, so if I were you concentrate your sight on the beautiful valley of Amburayan from a far.

My daughter won't get tired of pointing her fingers to the mountains or anything that caught her attention, even the chicken below the ridge didn't escape her meticulous eyes.  We've come to appreciate nature and good thing we still had a great view of the mountains and greens from the park.

If you forgot to buy souvenirs from other shops within the city, you can always count on numerous shops within Minesview. From food items, small items, miniatures, dresses, bags and more were all available at the park you just need to learn how to haggle so you can buy more for a lesser cost.
