I was on a hunt in finding a tea pot to be use as a table centerpiece in an important event that I will be attending soon. I know Divisoria and Dapitan would be the best place to go to, however I do not have much time to visit both places. Good thing I stumble upon MrsMommyHolic old blog entry about Uniwide Sucat. Two weeks ago I went there and luckily found what I was looking for.

I couldn't believe what my eyes have seen (ha ha). Going inside Uniwide felt like I was in a huge time travel machine (seriously). There were a combination of old and new items available for purchase, home furniture, decors, toys and many more interesting, usable items that are relatively cheaper in price. The place was huge, clean and organize in all fairness. But what I really appreciate about while visiting the place was finding some rare items that I actually grew up with at a very affordable price. Here are some of the items I took photos of:

TEA, MILK & COFFEE POTS

We'll be having a Grand Alumni Homecoming (Elementary) soon and I was the one responsible in creating the 90's feel theme with decors the will mostly remind us of our childhood (20 years ago). Having said that, I suggested to incorporate some vintage yet shabby chic feel on our theme (which they all agreed) therefore some of these tea pots will be put into use.

FOOD CANISTER/ CONTAINERS & HOLDER

These cupcakes, candies, cookie holder are all pretty. The swan was heavier than I thought. (he he he) These container price ranges from 10-15 Php each.

CERAMIC PLATES, CUPS, SILVERWARES & PORCELAIN

Floral ceramic plates were once popular in the 90's. I think most families had it during those time or maybe up until now.

NEW & OLD TOY ITEMS

The best part of remembering childhood memories is by seeing your favorite toy still available in the market. Biker Mice was popular to the boys during the yesteryear. While having Barbie's pink car was once a little girl's dream.
