FAB FINDS: SNOW WHITE COSTUME

I've been a huge fan of Disney princesses while growing up and even up to this day. I still find them really amusing. My favorites were Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and Snow White. I once dream of becoming one of them even on a play but ended up portraying Jasmine of Aladdin in one of our school play way back in high school hehehe... so I guess you know why? lol

Now that I have a preschooler my dream has finally come true! sort of.... lol

My daughter and her classmates will be having a parade and dance number this coming weekend. She will be playing SNOW White with the Dwarfs (I'm not sure how many boys are there to play the dwarf though, hehe). Upon learning about it my husband and I immediately went at the mall's department store to canvas for the costume. We found one and it was well fitted but ended up not buying it. Why?

The one that got away... hehehe

We were really concerned with the amount of loose glitters that it has on the fabric. I personally felt it was unsafe for my kid. Secondly it was too pricey at 1700.00 Php, knowing she will be using it for less than an hour I supposed. Our last concern was Mckenzie seems uncomfortable so with that we were not convinced. She even requested us to find another one without the glitters. I ask my husband to find the same costume at the Public Market and the next day.... guess what?!.... He found a treasure!

And the great thing about it was, it cost 550.00 Php and he was able to bargain and got it at 500.00 Yehey! plus points that it has petticoat skirt underneath. It was the last piece by the way. It was shiny but wasn't glittery and I am good with the fabric (satin) as well. My daughter immediately tried it on and it fits on her perfectly.. Magical indeed!

Wait something is missing...... but fairy godmother will do it for you McKenzie...

"even miracles take a little time" (wink) - FAIRY GODMOTHER

Can't wait to see you in costume, having a good time at the parade, dancing and laughing with friends... my love...
