A WINNING HIDE AWAY - KAMANA SANCTUARY, SUBIC BAY

It's been 4th of January 2017 and I still got a lot of worthy to share blog entries that I haven't finished writing yet hahaha... what a great start (insert sarcasm)... but seriously, I am just so happy that I got a chance to sit down and finished what I have left behind (well.. mostly blog entries) so I can finally move forward. :) Oh well, before anything else (sabay ganun, after the long intro) let me all greet you a HAPPY BRAND NEW YEAR. Wishing us all a prosperous, healthy, adventurous, wealthy and delightful 365 days of 2017.
So going back to my first entry this year  (I consider this one as a throwback already). Allow me to share with you our Kamana Sanctuary get away. We didn't know this place exist (we haven't seen it on the list of the resort in subic until our friend search for "infinity pool in subic area".
This travel has been memorable and note- worthy. Find out why...

We gladly met our dearest friend and her family again. Had a satiating lunch together and left to find a place for relaxation after. It was in the afternoon that we started to hit the road once more to find a perfect place for catching up. However, hotels and some resorts in Marina area (Waterfront) Subic Bay was not so inviting that time (given Karen hasn't left PAR that day) and coastguard red alert was still raised. So we went far going to the secluded areas of Subic Bay Fort. After hours of praying and trying and braving the alienated (forgive me for the term) road we've found Kamana Sanctuary which has given us a perfect paradise feels.

We were lucky to have the place exclusively for us (hehe) on our arrival day  (sino ba naman kasi mag reresort ng may bagyo talaga eh noh? hehe) so we had a chance to explore the whole resort and take pictures of course and one to sawa sa infinity pool that were amazingly warm and perfect for a cool weather.

Happy faces :)
We've stayed at one of the Casitas, because it was particularly the choice of our friend and basically because it was big enough for our group. We wanted to be together in one room ganun kami ka close eh.

And make ourselves feel at Home sa dalawang araw hehehe :)

At night, we decided to take a trip back uptown at Marina Area for dinner. We brave the alienated road (haha) again. And make ourselves busog lusog at Gerry's Grill. Returned back to the resort again. Imagine our kalokohan during the whole trip dun sa masukal na daan. It was hilarious, fun and quite scary to be honest hahah.. and had our one to sawa kwentuhan during the wee hours of the night. Note: you have to watch the  video to fully understand me.. but I think it will take time to post.. so yeah, I'll post it here soon.
On day 2 - we had our breakfast at the resort and it was delectable. Here are some of the dishes we ordered that morning.

I was grateful to have these bunch and bond with them whenever our time permits. And to wake up with this kind of view with good people around you, the feeling was just so refreshing and heartfelt. I can only give a deep sigh, be thankful and feel blessed.

And oh, we were able to take more photos of the place and enjoy the pool again. Typhoon Karen left Par and the sun shines brightly to our faces during the second day. I also had a chance to go down the shore and pick some sea shells.

It was all fun and it was a memorable day for all of us...
