And because we are half through the month of February, I think it's about time to move this entry out of my January Drafts LOL.. (late post na naman, pagpasensyahan nyo nabubusy rin sa life... hehehe). This is a piece of our SHERCON RESORT experience and hope you find some useful chunks of information here in case you are planning to go to this place soon.
Nestled in the highlands of Lipa Batangas, Shercon Resort had this grandeur landscape with a win-some view of Taal Lake. My husband and I took a day tour trip in this place and we're both happy to have seen it's beauty on a day light.
About 1.5 to 2 hours ride away from home, we braved the ever changing (confusing) weather that day but thankfully was able to arrive at the place with the sun shining brightly on our faces. (he he he)... and because of it, we were able to go around the whole place (almost) to appreciate.
Ulan - araw - ulan :) |
Upon arrival, we were greeted by courteous guards and staffs. After clearing our fees and had our passes we went directly to our designated table. We've previously requested for a cabana but decided to let go of it because it's just too huge for the two of us and mainly because we've personally chose to keep our belongings inside the car. We were asked to pay 800.00 Php for our entrance and got our tent for free. Good thing, kasi we weren't able to really make use of the table and chairs, we've spent around 15 mins just to relax then ikot ulit hehe...
Umpisahan na ang paglalakad :) |
Since we arrived at around 8:30 in the morning at makulimlim pa, we decided to start walking up and down the guided paths exploring every interesting areas of the resort with matching picture picture siyempre (di yun mawawala hehehe).

Shercon has 6 different large pools plus 11 pockets pools (and dami!) and you can find them in six different parks namely; Ecology, Bougainvillea, Forestville pool, Club Manuel, Infinity and Prime Pool near the tree House Pavillion and the Pocket pool in front of the amphitheater. Madaming tao pagdating namin pero sa laki ng place parang di ka naman mauubusan ng pupuntahan at gagawin hehehe :)
Here are some photos of the pools I mentioned above.

Same color ng hair at skin ko yung rocks LOL :) blend - in literal! |
The resort features other interesting facilities that can cater large group or team building activities. They do have Obstacle course, camp site, maze and a giant chess set.
We got to try this one :) without a sweat! easy peasy for us! yehey.. May naligaw po jan sa loob di makalabas kaya yung friend nya tumuntong na sa taas ng maze... |
If you think yan na yun madami pang iba, but I don't want to spoil your imagination din naman. Remember I mentioned we've finished exploring the whole place for two hours except for the monkey trail because we were too tired of walking na. We haven't seen the hanging bridge pa, so maybe we'll go back here soon? we'll never know :)
All in all, we had a great time going around the resort and somehow made a connection with nature. I like the forest like enchanting kind of environment at Shercon with all the greens, blues and other colorful hues of nature blending in together. The weather gave us such an amazing photo result - with no filters needed.
Thanks for giving us a discount Shercon.. We we're surprised! :) It was a great kick start for our year!
