OUR BEDROOM MAKEOVER PROJECT

Charan!!!.. So the long weekend is over and so far these are the lists of what we have accomplished on our BEDROOM MAKEOVER Project.

- wall repainting (including the previously unfinished parts)
- door painting
- modifying old computer table and turning it as our bedside shelvings
- removing end of bed cabinet and installing the bracketless shelves (home of my husband's gundam collection).
- new Bedsheets has been placed
- painted window bars and installing new curtains
- changing old computer table with a new one
- installing new tv bracket to hold our tv set.
- installing new storage baskets for my daughter's toys
- sorting out her toys and donating the rest to our neighbors
- general cleaning

.... and  since our project is not fully completed yet, we also got a lists of things to do:

- Painting of cabinet and organising upper storage room
- install curtain at the storage room
- paint for the ceiling
- repainting bedside shelvings
- repainting McKenzie's cabinet
- installation of storage bench for Mckenzie's toy bins. (will have it custom made)
- diy cushion for the bench
- tons and tons of organisation

Since we only got 2 days off in a week, it will take long to finish everything. I am hoping to finish it before Mckenzie's birthday in June but I won't stress myself trying to do everything at once. Otherwise it will defeat the purpose of why this project has been created in the first place. So far, I am okay with how the project has progress and have seen a good effect immediately.

I'll try to be good at myself and won't go overboard this time. I will have to take things slowly but surely (hehehe) besides this is not a show off project. We all just want to have a simple, uncluttered and easy life.

And oh by the way, we shell out around 6K for all the new pieces we have installed in the bedroom including the paint. My budget is under 10K, we'll see if we can bring everything in under the budget or will it hit the mark? that one I'll find out soon. Anyways, once we're done, I will share with you the total expenses and more of my fab find pieces.

So far... so good... (why do I have so many "so far" in this entry? hahaha)
