THE 8" PLATE CHALLENGE

CHOOSE WELLNESS

Last Friday of the Month (March 28)!! Yippee! (+) PAYDAY & (-) GROCERY time equals (=) Empty Wallet... HAHAHA!!!! reality bites... Ouch..

I am not complaining though because Grocery time means bonding time for us (Hubby, baby & myself). Yes, going on a grocery store is an activity we all love to do. Strolling around SHOPWISE ALABANG, checking on the gondolas and picking out the items that we need, a stress reliever in a way.

Okay, so what about the title... for sure you have read or heard it before - "CHOOSE WELLNESS"....

While strolling around Shop wise in Alabang, we saw this small Standee of Nestle and my husband got curious so I let him go near it. We found out that there is a free consultation from a certified nutritionist who is manning the booth at the same time. My husband is so eager to do a consultation so I gave in and tried it as well, besides it's FREE!!!

The nutritionist is so accommodating and polite. She asked us to fill up the form, she took our height and weight. She also handled to us the B.M.I Counter (A toy-stick like object with monitor). After some calculations and comparison of what is normal or not, she explained to us the results. (So happy with my result; Height & Weight are Normal, also my body fats are within the limit. YEY!) Then she gave us this leaflet as a guide including a free Milo R2 Pack.

Our Free Milo R2 Pack :)

Days had passed, I almost forget about it. Then, One day it struck me, when I started to feel a pain on my chest, heart burn maybe and that I get tired easily. So I grab the leaflet and start reading the contents of it. I started thinking about following the 8" plate Chart.(hmmm... challenge thyself & hoping for the best...)

The CHART :)

In reality I may not be able to go back to my old size but I choose to mind about my health now especially my eating habits. I know at first adjustment it will be tough but sooner or later it will become a habit... a long way to go... but for now, i choose to try it out...

Good Luck to me!!!! Hoooo....

Disclaimer: I am not connected to Nestle by any means. This is not a paid advertisement as well. This is based on my own opinion and choice.
