Now that McKenzie is in her toddler years and it is a perfect time for us to help her explore and learn new things. We planned to give her some summer workshop and fun tutorials in the comfort of our home". I initially thought of sending her to summer camps before but some issues like age limits, budget constraints, schedules and location become my concerns that I failed to do so. But that doesn't stop me in giving her what she deserves even at a very young age and that is to develop and hone her skills and interest. If one thing doesn't work then always have a plan B (as my husband would always tell me) so I decided to have a different approach in achieving a fun and worthwhile summer experience by listing activities that we can do together as a family.
Aside from our usual out of town travel and gala time I am looking for an activity that will require us to engage ourselves seriously but also in a fun way. Something that is new and unique for the three of us. Something that will bring out the uniqueness of each of us. Good thing I came across Nuffnang Monde Mamon Make It Yourself blog and got excited upon learning it. So for the last leg of summer, I plan to have a food decorating activity during merienda and the Monde Mamon MIY would be a perfect activity for us. We saw how happy Mckenzie is every time we (husband and I) are around and actually "BEING THERE" with her doing the same activity together.
I can't wait to see and document the sweet smile this activity would bring us. It is not every day that you see the family bond together doing an activity such as this one and we will surely anticipate the love and happiness this activity may bring.
