Hey guys! We are now well into the last quarter of the year, 77 days before Christmas from today. Isn't it exciting?!
As early as now I am sure most of us (mommies) are thinking of some good recipes to prepare and add up for our Noche Buena lists this year. Now, if you are looking for some new and undeniably delicious (yet affordable) desserts to serve for your family may it be on ordinary days or during special occasion, follow my blog and join me on some of my humble kitchen (mission) journey, lol.
For the same reason, I am dedicating October as a Month of Jelly Dessert Recipes. As you know I always like to prepare recipes that are affordable and that are not too complicated. Now, I am happy to tell you that I am done with my first recipe which I did last weekend, the "LYCHEE-RAISIN JELLY. I was able to share it with some of the people I know and for some reason I got positive feedback :)
So here are the ingredients and procedure in preparing Lychee - Raisin Jelly.
INGREDIENTS
1 small sachet of Lychee flavored Jelly powder
4 small boxes of raisins
1 medium can of Condensed Milk
5 cups of water
PROCEDURE
1. Prepare a clean bowl, add 5 cups of water and dissolved jelly powder.
2. On medium heat allow the mixture to boil, make sure to stir from time to time to avoid scorching. Set to low fire and add condensed milk. Stir and boil further for another 2 mins. Remove from heat and put to a pan (You may use different shaper pans, the kids will appreciate it more)
3. Let it cool down (room temp. only) Get a fork or a bamboo sticks to check whether the mixture has started to form already. Once the mixture became tender and formed put desired quantity of raisins on top. Allow to further sit at room temp. Moved to chiller (not freezer) once heat are totally out. Serve after an hour.
Enjoy and share this cool and yummy desserts to your love ones!
Three more to go! Weekends are so much fun and exciting because of this!! love't.
Note:
You may also follow the cooking instruction printed at the back of the packaging (jelly) and you can always add condensed milk if you wish to have it sweeter. Good luck and don't forget to have fun while cooking.
