June 20, 2014 - Since it is our 3rd day and last day in the island, we didn't miss the chance to taste and experience JONAH'S FRUITSHAKES for our breakfast, we were supposed to have an early swim but it was high tide during the day so we opt to watch the current and tides as it splashes at the back of Jonah's Restaurant. You'll see the Grotto from afar and I think no one is brave enough to swim in there during the high tide except to few surfers that we saw that day. After eating our breakfast we decided to go to PUKA Beach. We rode a tricycle back and forth, good thing Manong Driver was patient and kind enough to wait for us.
PUKA BEACH
Upon entering PUKA Beach you'll see a line of store selling shells and island souvenirs. Since we already bought pasalubong on the 2nd day we skipped buying from PUKA. The sand in Puka Beach are a combination of cream sand and fine shells (look at the picture below) but again the beauty was definitely exceptional. It was like being in a remote island, you conquer it and fell in love with it.
After our PUKA adventure we headed back to again to Station 1 to swim and make most of our time enjoying the nature since we will scheduled to leave for Kalibo in the afternoon. The sand is finer at this station and the surrounding is more calm that you have a real chance to connect with nature.
By 11am we check out at the hotel and had some lunch. Our service were ready to pick us up by 1PM and we bid goodbye to the island of Boracay. Half of Day 3...
