I wished for a day of relaxation and my wish was granted on the second day of the celebration. To beat the heat that day we took ourselves to Southpick Resort at Sta. Rosa Laguna. See our simple water splash celebration and know more about the resort.
SOUTHPICK RESORT
Like what I mentioned earlier, I was looking forward to have a relaxing day on my birthday, since we have a whole three day, all for us, my husband suggested that we go out of town and took the time to teach our daughter how to swim. We tried to check some other resorts but we decided it would be best to go back and revisit Southpick Resort. We held a small reunion (with elementary friends/classmates) at the same resort two years ago so this was my second time already.
Thank goodness we made the right decision! The resort was still on its finest, a well maintained facilities, with the same inviting ambiance welcomed us and the pool area was not crowded at all just perfect for my daughter's first visit and swimming lesson (she couldn't hide her excitement).
With the kind of ambiance and right pool water temperature we surely enjoyed our time at the resort. I guess that's why my daughter learned how to swim in no time because of its learning (swim) boosting environment. There are rooms, dormitory and picnic sheds at the pool side. We chose to take the tallest picnic shed so it would be easier for us to check on our belongings.
The resort is actually the venue for major swimming activities and training. From time to time the other half of the big pool were occupied by students who took swimming lessons. It is also the home of the Southpick Blue Shark Swimming Club so you know that the management will ensure to keep the resort well maintained for the years to come.
They got a lot of facilities which can cater activities for small or big groups alike. See the sign (directory) in the picture and know what are the other amenities.
It was such a refreshing day at the resort, a perfect day of relaxation. It was indeed a happy birthday to me.
HOW TO GET THERE
If you are commuting:
From Alabang South Station Terminal ride a jeepney with signage STA. ROSA BAYAN and ask the driver to drop you off in front of STA.ROSA WET MARKET (Palengke). Then transfer and ride on a tricycle and ask the driver to bring you to SOUTHPICK RESORT.
