I have this thing over instant print cameras. It's fascinating to see pictures develop in front of your very own eyes in less than a minute or so. But since I am always on a tipid mode (for my own self), this particular goal always ends up on the bottom of my list every single year. I let pass of the previous mini series from fujifilm but this year I told myself I got to have one.
And blessing! because my husband gave it to me as a gift this Christmas! on the very first day of December. Isn't he the sweetest?! hehehe
I have one in COBALT Blue which I think perfectly fits my age, my personality and my mood (for most of the time). It is easy to carry, very user friendly, easy to set up and always fun to use. And with correct use of it's settings and functionality you will have a very clear and good photo results.
And like any other cameras, I made sure to handle this one with care and I made sure to use the film wisely, kasi mahal po ang instax film. I am not sure why, but in every store I go they offer different prices for the film alone. However, having said that, I was able to compare and know where to buy next time.
The lower the price offered, the better. Hangga't makakatipid kahit ilang singko pa yan! Since same lang din naman yung film iba iba lang sila talaga sila ng offer. The film ranges from 365 for the colored one, while the black and white is around 400-500. Usually comes with 10 sheets per box. You can also buy it in 50 sheets in a four digit price. They say makakatipid ka pag bulk, but I compared the price same pa din naman naglalaro lang around 36.5 - 37 Php per sheet. I prefer to have it in minimum since I am going to use it on special occasions and during those magical moment (yup, may ganun akong eme) that I feel the need to capture it. I also wish to go back doing scrapbooking, dahil simula na di na uso yung film wala na ata kaming na pa develop na picture hahaha... Iba pa din yung may nababalikan ka na natotouch mo talaga as compared sa nakikita mo lang nakasave somewhere na anytime pwedeng mabura.
And what's good about the instax other than it's snap and print functionality is you can also write something on the borders of the film itself. It's like a ready made souvenir which you can hand over to your friend or love ones right there and then. Some might find it old fashion but for me it's fascinating.
And oh, there are four more colors to choose from by the way. They comes in Flamingo Pink which I think is very very Girly looking. Smoky White for more casual look. It is likely more of a light grayish color than white. Lime Green that looks fun and bubbly (teens). Lastly, Ice Blue for a more tone down calm appearance. Thinking for a gift to give for your loved one this Christmas? I bet this one's a good idea.
