I really am fascinated with theme restaurants concept. It brings such an interesting and enjoyable level up experience to diners. And nowadays, I notice that it is becoming a trend, that you can easily find these resto in the must-go places around the metro. And it's a good thing, since it provides additional selection for the people.
I considered myself a certified foodie, I don't just go out to different resto just to feed my hunger. I like trying out new tastes, discover new recipes and food experiences that would satisfy both my cravings and curiosity.
Last year, I was fortunate to have visited one of my favorite theme restaurant from outside the country - The Charlie Brown Cafe in Hong Kong. I also dream to experience The Butterbeer in Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan but have no means just yet so I came to seek them here locally. Good thing we have them here via - The Witches Brew Diners PH (which I haven't blog about yet pala, yay!). Just recently, I was able to cross out another one from my bucket list since we've visited the HELLO KITTY CAFE in BGC. You know I am a huge fan of Hello Kitty (ehehehe).
And it was perfect timing that we visited them just this year and not during their opening week (hehehe)on the last quarter of 2017. Was it a let down? Not for me... Fan ako.. bias hahaha (no seriously). My officemates and I, we had a great time. We went there to avail of our free Cafe latte which voucher we got from last year's HK Run. Timing also for one of our officemates birthday celebration. Okay, so aside from the fact that we're all HK fan. We did enjoy our overall dining experience. From the store concept, food and drinks offered and services provided. We're pleased.
How happy are we? hehehe.... nostalgic, it is for us to finally experience HK Cafe. We didn't have them during childhood (lol) so now that we have come of age and are able to experience it for the first time, imagine the excitement we have! hahaha...
But really, at least now, everyone can enjoy going in theme resto like this and that they are now reachable, affordable for many to experience. So yun, nakaka - happy! So yeah, the girls went uptown and experienced Hello Kitty Cafe PH.
